Wisconsin Judge Blocks Indoor Gathering Limitations

Compliance, COVID-19

On Wednesday, October 14, 2020 a Sawyer County judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking Emergency Order #3, which limited public gatherings to no more than 25 percent of a room or building’s total occupancy in Wisconsin.

This order does not permanently end the emergency order as issued by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), however it does temporarily suspend its enforcement. The judge scheduled a hearing for Monday, October 19th to hear arguments from the state regarding the court injunction.
