Improving the overall health of its associates, as well as attracting and retaining talent, is a priority at West Bend.

Striving to stay ahead of the curve, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company offered its associates a robust wellness program that included health risk assessments, onsite biometric screenings, and an on-site fitness center. But the company wanted to achieve more.

That’s why West Bend partnered with M3’s Health Promotions Advisor for insight into creating a program that had something for everyone.

West Bend partnered with M3’s expert to identify key areas where their program could benefit from M3’s guidance and market knowledge. The two companies worked together to transform West Bend’s existing program into one that took a more holistic approach toward worksite wellness.

The journey of program improvement that West Bend and M3 had walked together culminated with great news: West Bend received the Gold Well Workplace Award from WELCOA. This kind of recognition is only given to those who meet a demanding set of criteria for company-wide wellness initiatives that get real results.

With a newly designed program now firmly in place, West Bend can proudly say the changes have been successful.  Today, the company has an expanded – and highly successful – wellness program in place for its associates.
