Founded more than a century ago, The Lutheran Home has remained on the leading edge of senior care, continually exploring better ways to meet the changing needs of older adults. You can see that in the range of support and services it provides—everything from short-term rehab and adult day services to independent living and memory care assisted living.
The Lutheran Home Foundation focuses on increasing the awareness for older adults’ needs. The organization is also dedicated to raising funds for the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place. These two senior care campuses in the greater Milwaukee area provide compassionate and loving care to older adults.
The Lutheran Home’s tireless efforts to meet the needs of today’s seniors—and their families—extends to providing spiritual support through chaplaincy services and coordinating support groups for family caregivers.
The Lutheran Home and M3: a special partnership
The work that Lutheran Home does to care for older adults and their families has a strong connection with how we live at M3. In fact, the organization’s contributions to the senior care community align well with M3’s service to the senior living and social services industry. As an M3 client for many years, the Lutheran Home has consistently exemplified what effective, compassionate care for older adults can look like.
M3 employees volunteer their time and support various Lutheran Home fundraising events throughout the year, including the organization’s annual Monarch Ball.
M3’s relationship with the Lutheran Home runs deep. For example, Dale Van Dam has been the organization’s board chairman twice, and today sits on the executive committee of the board of directors. Both his mother and grandmother were residents of the Lutheran Home.
