30 of 50: American Family Insurance Championship

In conjunction with the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation, the American Family Insurance Championship raised close to $3 million in its first two years. This year’s event (held just last month) is expected to exceed previous years in both attendance and funds raised.

The event includes a week of festivities and family-friendly activities, culminating with a PGA TOUR Champions match featuring some of the biggest names in professional golf. On top of that, this year’s nine-hole Celebrity Foursome comprised Packer great Brett Favre, former New York Yankee Derek Jeter, PGA legend Lee Trevino, and Wisconsin native Andy North, a two-time U.S. Open champion and ESPN golf analyst.

An Important Event with an Immense Impact Throughout Our State

Half of the proceeds raised from the American Family Insurance Championship support the valuable work being done at the American Family Children’s Hospital, a world-class hospital in our own backyard that touches the lives of children and families around Wisconsin—and beyond. The other half go to non-profit organizations, many of them M3 clients, doing vital work in Wisconsin communities.

“With the reach of this event touching so many in our state, we’re more than proud to be a sponsor of the American Family Insurance Championship,” says M3 president Mike Victorson. “Our own presence in Wisconsin, from offices in Madison and Milwaukee to Green Bay, Eau Claire, and Wausau, reminds us constantly of how important strong communities are. The American Family Insurance Championship gives us a profound opportunity to play a role in keeping them strong.”

We are truly grateful to M3 Insurance for their generous commitment as they were one of the first partners to get involved when the tournament began in 2016. As a result of our partnership, we are able to have a tremendous impact on numerous local charities benefiting children and families. Thank you to Mike Victorson and all of the M3 Insurance employees for their unwavering support.
