RISK INSIGHT: Reminder to Post Your OSHA Log Summary by 2-1-16

Property & Casualty, Risk

It’s that time of year again—February 1st marks the deadline for industries required to maintain an OSHA 300 Log to tabulate their annual OSHA Log Summary (OSHA Form 300A) and post it in a common area— wherever notices to employees are usually posted.

The summary— which is required to stay posted until April 30, 2016— must list the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses that were logged in the calendar year of 2015.  If you are unsure if you are required to maintain an OSHA Log, here is a link for industries exempt for OSHA recordkeeping: https://www.osha.gov/recordkeeping2014/OSHA3746.pdf

If you need additional assistance, have questions about record-ability please feel free to contact your M3 Account Executive for more information.
