The Foundation for Madison Public Schools, Adopt-a-School Program

What happens when educators, parents, and community leaders join together with students to help create extraordinary public schools? For more than 15 years, that’s exactly what the Foundation for Madison Public Schools (FMPS) has been doing. Through strategic investments and community engagement initiatives, FMPS supports the schools of Madison and in the process promotes bold, exciting partnerships between schools and the communities in which they exist.

Take for example FMPS’s Adopt-a-School program. Local businesses and other organizations have a profound opportunity to “adopt” a school and form a special relationship with the students, teachers, and administrators of that school.

M3: Proud to Adopt Franklin Elementary School

Our partnership with Franklin Elementary School gives M3 employees opportunities to volunteer throughout the year in a variety of ways, including being mentors to students and participating in events like . . .

  • Franklin’s Read-A-Thon: M3 employees read to Franklin classrooms during this special reading-focused week.
  • Field Day/Fun Run: M3 employees help at event stations.
  • Clothing Drives: Throughout the year, M3 holds multiple clothing drives for Franklin students in need.
